Yep, they were less last year. Price increases.$100 seems steep but if they work then they're probably worth the $ to some

Ummmm, noIs this Hunter Bob the “Adirondack Cowboy”?
I have a hard time beleiving these will hold up to 5 mile hikes in/out of the woods day after day.

I tried two different brands of heated insoles and they both quit working within a few weeks. I think a lot of that had to do with the distances I was covering to get back into a few spots, I can imagine the electronics in them are really built for that. Anecdotal for sure, but I think there’s some truth to your belief.I have a hard time beleiving these will hold up to 5 mile hikes in/out of the woods day after day.
After a 5 mile walk in, do you change your socks when you get to your tree? I would recommend doing that too get rid of the sweat soaked socks. Then slip in the heater insoles. I don't use the insoles as my feet don't get that cold any more.I have a hard time beleiving these will hold up to 5 mile hikes in/out of the woods day after day.
Thanks for the idea but nah, I've got enough technology to charge and worry about what happens if it fails. Same reason I'd rather wear 2 to 5 Hot Hands adhesive body warmers instead of a heated vest. Also, my feet will almost sweat in boot blankets with super warmers versus those insoles have mixed reviews.

No, never need to change socks. For me, feet arent cold because of wet socks they are cold because its 5 deg and windy. I was looking at boot covers to let me hike in with light weight boots and then put on the covers vs heavy weight and have sweaty feet. After a 5 mile walk in, do you change your socks when you get to your tree?
