Ok. This probably won't require a million responses. That being said, I want to do the 1-stick rappel method next year.
Besides the rope, what else do I need for rapelling? Prefer to use mechanical forms. Thanks in advance.

YOU have to research this one!!! It’s been widely covered & what you don’t want is a few responses & you buy some gear , then have at it. Your safety depends on it!
