Rappelling in the cold on a Madrock

I have noticed that on those cold days when your rope is mostly frozen. If you put a little heat into your Madrock it makes for a smoother ride down. Run a little rope through before you start down. Stand up and pull as much rope through as possible and then reverse and fall back to the start position ..... repeat...... maybe one more time on the coldest of days. Now your device is warm and ready for decent. It will be way smoother, I promise.

I had the same issue(from the same State). I switched to GriGri instead and it works fine in the cold without having to warm it up.
