RC harness help!?!

I use a misty mountain Gym Dandy harness. The waist band is 1-3/4 or 1-7/8. This allows me to run it through a piece of 2” climb spec webbing and then 1” climb spec webbing through that too. Then tie water knots at the ends for loops. No way, in a fall/catch is it going to slide up to my armpits if a zip tie snaps or whatever other way to affix linemans belt to RC harness.

I really do not understand how this option is not more popular here.

Can you show more pictures of what you did. I am thinking about starting saddle hunting from the beginning and looking at options

That picture sums it up. The Gym Dandy does not have any equipment loops. The waist “band” is 1-3/4 or 1-7/8 inches.
I take 2” tubular climb spec webbing and 1” tubular climb spec webbing and slide the harness waist band and 1” webbing through the inside of the 2” . Then I tie loops with water knots on each end of 1” (after putting some rope inside the 1” to help keep them open). For how I do it, That is all that is really needed.

I’ll try to take a better picture tomorrow though.

I use a metolius safe tech, mainly for the fact that all of the gear loops are weight rated, so you can use a linesman on the side gear loops without any modification.
