I signed up for this forum last year after learning about saddle hunting. I’ve been lurking around since then, initially looking for a DIY solution in an effort to save money.

Hunting season came and went and saddles were still in the back of my mind. I finally pulled the trigger last night in a mantis and predator platform.

I hunt public land in MN metro area and am excited to not be dragging my summit Goliath with me on most occasions. I’m looking forward receiving the products so I can start learning their nuances. I’m sure there will be tons of questions for the folks here as I’m now a saddle hunter!
 
Welcome to the site! Feel free to ask away as you start to dig into this. Stay at ground level & get super comfortable, then you will be second nature at hunting height. (First couple will pucker you up)

I’m sure I’ll gave tons of questions once I have it in hand. It’s so much different than what I’m used to with climbers. I’m working in researching what sticks to buy to accompany it.
