Realistic learning curve to saddle hunting

I was brand new to the saddle and the climbing methods last year. I got my setup in May and started practicing. I DRT climb or use my platform and aiders..Either way i rappel down. The platform climbing took longer to master for me and it is quieter than the DRT.
It didnt take long to get comfortable,but a while to get good. Try a backband for all day sits,and knee pads. You can change your position a lot with those.
