Im not planning on changing anything. I use the same lines man with my spurs and sticks.

Right now, I only have the lineman straps that come with a trophy line and GW. They work.
The question is: Do you think it’s worth switching to a flip line or rope and ropeman set up assuming the rate of climb with these things.

Rope/ropeman sure. I wouldn’t get an actual flip line though

Steel core flip line is overkill unless you are climbing something greater 2 foot dbh.

This flip line is nice. It's added bulk and weight. Something we all try to avoid. Honestly, for the weight penalty I would upgrade the ropeman to another stronger option with a short dyneema runner between the device and the carabiner.
