Anyone have experience with a rope bridged Recon and found a carabiner brand/model that fits the hole? Mine all seem too big. Trying to make the bridge openable.

Girth hitching a Super short dyneema sewn sling from Metolius or sterling in the hole(like Quickdraw length). Thatll let you use whatever size biner you want. Head down to OGE, they'll have one.

Quick or delta link may be a way to do it.
I wondered about this idea also. Don't own any links to test it.

The hole is very small, so maybe nothing sturdy is getting through there.

Good tip. Was thinking about this also. Might go that way, but it needs to be very short, since the plates already ride so high you pretty quickly lose bridge rotation ability. I do have an REI gift card so that would win out over OGE unfortunately.

Might end up just tying a Prussik in there so that the bridge is adjustable at least, even if not openable.
