Recon Sling Revamp

I wouldn't mind some more photos as well. I've got to do something bc its driving me nuts not being able to carry my gear in my pouches. I've got the bungee belt which works perfectly without weight. Also, I've been debating on putting the recon under a rch or sewing leg loops. I'll be doing option 2 first. I srt and rappel quite a bit and even with my paracord leg loops tight, the bottom loop still rides up my clothing as I climb. I've had a few instances where the pucker factor went through the roof as I hung there 30ft up trying to wiggle it back down.
I'm going to try and find a way to direct the load from the leg loops to the front somehow. Like most rch's are. I don't believe itll work without putting weight on the bridge/plates and throwing my slings cams out of sync :)
I tried running down Bwhana's thread on his leg loops but was unsuccessful. If anyone has the drop on that thread, I'd appreciate it.

Had anyone thought of putting detachable leg loop connections on the recon similar to the latitude? I'm not really a leg loop guy but the design is simple and very functional.

@Nugget I think the location of those would be ideal as long as they come off before trying to hunt. Plus it would be alot less sewing. I've been wanting to buy some g hooks anyways, got a link to some good ones?

I do not, but please let me know how you like the mod. I've been also wondering how a latitude style belt would work on a recon as well. The belt just slides behind a stiff two inch strap that is attached to the saddle along the middle of the upper sling. This style belt would make the saddle more secure when walking with a heavy dump pouch. I've been hunting exclusively out of my recon and latitude and like them both for different reasons. Have ofter though that the perfect saddle would be one that is the offspring of both.

Will do. Hopefully I'll get to it in the next few days. I may swap the lower straps on my spurs for now and snag those 2 g hooks just to see as this is at the top of my list really.
