What to do when your trusting old ladder stand gets smashed by a falling tree??? Make some DIY Treesuits! The tubing is really thin so I added bracing on the legs for the first one....should have enough metal for 4 to 6 to add to my other 3 diy platforms...getting my pre set rotation fatten up!9074971C-6D62-4996-BECB-28289E9E0288.jpeg0840A435-0121-4B4A-B547-A0DA5B227BA5.jpeg3DAE41C1-ECBA-47FC-9115-8BB2D5446417.jpeg

Going to test to see how rigid it is this weekend...may add lateral supports under the expanded metal and tie the legs together if this is any flex since these tunes are paper thin

How did it work? Guessing you added the support you had mentioned

I actually did not...my wife and I both got on it so it would be a shade over 300 lb and it was solid...I am guessing weight around 5 pounds? This is the only bracing on this batch of them to 9A9385A7-F294-4105-8498-D316C1FED4A2.jpeg

The expanded metal is fairly heavy at 1/8 extruded...I believe it helps keep it stiff
