Hello all,

Just purchased my first saddle and eager to try this method of hunting.

I intend to one-stick and would like your guys input on what type of repel rope to purchase? (I.E) size, brand, retailer?

Thanks for your input

You can get it through Eastern Woods Outdoors:

I also use this rope for my tether and rappelling. Works well and very strong for a 9mm line.

I checked their website and their sold out. I’ve been searching the web but haven’t had any luck finding sterling c-iv

I like the Canyon Elite. I believe it shows as 9mm but seems a bit bigger. Packs pretty easily.

Agreed I just put 40’ of the camo in my cart….then the website starts its maintenance, UGH! I have the orange now and love it, but would have got camo if it were in stock when I bought it. It’s big enough that a ropeman 1 worked perfect and it’s rated for 10-13mm ropes…..yes I was out of spec, but had no problems and it didn’t feel like it.. I really like the canyon elite and feel 100% safe using it for my tether/rappel rope. I also made a secondary short bridge using it for when I rappel. It’s soft and tying knots with it is super ez, but when cinched down they are hard as a rock!
