So I seem to have lost mine between leaving a tree last night, and hiking in this morning, standing on a maximum down tilt has been less fun. Already ordered a new one, am going to look for the lost one over lunch, but does anyone have a DIY method so my Friday afternoon and saturday arent blown?

I haven’t adjusted my screw set and am considering using red loctite on it just so it eventually does not come loose. Paracord is a good idea

I ran a zip tie through mine because I was worried about dropping mine while adjusting it. This year I have been climbing trees that are surrounded by water. I figured if I dropped it, I would have a hard time finding it. The paracord is a good idea too. I thought about ordering the replacement anyway since mine is the older one with less adjustment. Then I would still have one in case I loose one.

This doesn't help you now though. Hopefully you will get your replacement soon.

I have one of the older bolts and I epoxied a piece of hard rubber to the head of the bolt and the platform where it makes contact. Took away the metal on metal contact and added 1/4”.

Ooalm sent a new one that I ordered and paid for very quickly, but the next morning as I signed into the public hunting area I hunt out of expecting a downward leaning platform all day, I noticed someone had found my adjustment knob and placed it on the sign in kiosk.
