Ridge runner or predator?

And PS, I highly recommend ditching the stock predator strap, that thing kinda sucks compared to LW straps because it is hard to release the buckle after you camed the platform, others have reported this same issue with the buckle.

But Dan Os strap, it’s lighter and quiet, easy to pack, comes with a built in bungee at the end for easily securing it after you wrap up the strap and that style of strap easily cams the platform. I have no issues caming.
I just uncam the platform to release preassure...

It doesn’t work for me on the stock strap from Tethrd. I still usually have to take out my pocket knife and hammer at the button. It’s crazy.

I have never had this problem releasing the strap on my gen 2 predator and stock strap but lots of others have reported preferring LW straps for this reason.

I'm an idiot, thought it was ridge runner...

Have both, prefer the predator gen 2 for mobile and rr for presets. Haven’t noticed any noise from either. Didn’t like the kl Mx, but it was something when there was nothing. Trying to figure a way to modify my podiums as they can make noise when my feet are wet.

I'm 320 lbs and use a predator with a stock strap and have yet to experience this.

I have the Ridge Runner. As mentioned very well built, rock solid on tree, comfortable to stand on, no noise, handles side pressure well. It packs well or hangs on pack well. It seems a bit heavy, but that’s because it’s built so well. Can’t go wrong with it.

Is anyone having issues with running a daisy chain strap on the ridge runner with the dual angle buttons instead of the more traditional single?

I’ve never tried the RR but it looks solid. I would get one to try out, but I am far too satisfied with my predator to even consider it. You can’t go wrong with either one.
