Which Rock Climbing Harness are you guys using in conjunction with the Sit Drag?

Looking the most light weight and non cumbersome option. Thanks

I’m interested in this as well. I already use a Petzl Aspir as a safety harness in fixed stands and am wondering if it would work in conjunction with the sit drag.

www.mistymountain.com Gym Dandy harness. If you do not like the quick adjust for leg straps, call them and ask for "Goose", tell him you want the gym Dandy without the quick adjust on the legs. He'll do a custom order for you.

Either standard or custom Gym Dandy. Then get 2" tubular webbing and 1" tubular webbing. Use the 2" as a sleeve through the gym Dandy waist strap, add 1" tubular webbing inside the sleeve and waist strap with water knots on each end and you have your RC harness and a linemans belt that will not detach from the harness.

Check my history, I have posted about it and added pics.

I also have the BD Couloir harness, and it sits in its bag never to be used.

That works the best for me.

Upgraded linemans belt connection on my RC harness (safety)

May also want to consider a riggers belt. Has load rating, but no annoying leg straps. I think my pants will hold me up for that short distance.

I’ve been think about something like that as well. I have an emergency bailout system on my SCBA at work that is essentially a riggers belt. Does well on a 5’ fall with no serious discomfort. Not as nice as a rock climbing harness but works well.
