Can someone tell/show me some pics of what they are using for storage bags (i.e. molle dump pouches, etc) and how you're attaching them on your saddles? I don't really feel like spending 25.00 on the bags from the two main saddle companies. I want something to store my teather in, and possibly a extra linemans belt as well. Links from where you purchased as well please.

Thank You!

I just bought this. I like it. It's pretty stiff and could use a couple washes to soften up. I'm using it as is and it attaches to my molle webbing on my kestrel just fine. Fits my linesman's rope and ropemans 1 just fine. I have a 25' pull rope in the front pouch too.
If it's like mine I don't know if it will soften much. I removed the lining to quiet it down, and there's a semi-hard plastic body to it. The firm shape makes it easy to one hand stuff though.

Go to eBay, and look up molle dump pouch. I’d link, but I’m not sure that’s permissible. They have a couple of tactical style pouches that work really well and are less than $10.

The small pouches are grenade pouches, holds my accessory strap in one and a knife in the other. The small biners on prussic knots are for attaching and adjusting a back strap

how do you find stuff when it is behind you? how do you open and close the buckles with one hand? I struggle with those tasks. maybe because im fat.
The pouches sit slightly off the hip, not quite as far as your rear pants pockets. One handed operation of the buckles has not been an issue but if you notice I have tied 550 cord to them to help. Not pictured but it’s also on the small pouches now. It’s not been too difficult, but like all parts of my saddle, I spent quite a bit of time practicing in the yard, preseason. Gloves on, gloves off... different senerios

I'll have a couple of the Amazon pouches for sale at the SaddlePalooza Gear Swap. They were just too loud for me, so I made simple fleece bags for my tether and lineman ropes.

I made these out of fleece with elastic in the top to keep the opening pulled shut some. I have a loop on the back that attaches to the back of the saddle. Nothing fancy but works and super quite.

This might be slightly off-topic. But on my home built tree suit. I stitched in 2 pockets with elastic at the top.
One pocket holds linesman rope, the other holds the tether. I can also fit in a folding saw and snips. I guess maybe more, but have not done it.

I think I have the same ones. I use them but don't care for them. I'll figure something out.

I really like the SysHauler. Its a perfect fit for a tether and lineman's belt and associated hardware. I'm not a fan of hanging things off my saddle but my solution was to add a pair of molle style loop to my pack and attach it there. The mesh fabric is quiet and when it's empty is collapses to nothing.
