Hopefully this is one of them “there’s no such thing as a dumb question things”.
I am getting a smaller diameter climbing rope and tether. Am I ok to use my ropeman 1 from my 11mm ropes?
 
it says on your ropeman what size rope they are good for. I believe it goes from 8mm-11mm
 
It does say on the side of the ropeman what sizes are in spec. It is designed for 10-13mm ropes

Well dam, I just ordered 1 new tether and 1 new climbing rope. Both 8mm. I can’t find a ropeman to accommodate.
 
I have a ropeman1 but actually only use it on my lineman’s belt... I just like a Prussic better on my tether... right now I’m using tethrd’s predator ropes but plan on switching my lb and tether to canyon elite once it’s back in stock on double steps. At that point I’ll put a Prussic and a tender on my lb... I’ve just had too many times when my ropeman hits a stick or a carabiner while climbing...only reason I dont now is the prussic doesn’t slide very smooth on the predator rope... little too hard to work one handed with a tender.
