Im pretty set on starting to use a rope tether with my T.L saddle but not wanting to use any mechanical assist like ropeman1. Ive only ever used the strap that came with the saddle so im unsure how to go about using and tieing the tether to be adjustable for the caribeener . i could just clove hitch it but i want it adjustable..
What tried and true options have been done so that i have a starting point to work from before i get all fancy with it lol..

HSS tree strap is what I started with. They come with a prussik. I have two of them for sale in the classifieds.

Cheap and easy.

I used a rope tether yesterday for the first time in 13 seasons of saddle hunting and i must say what a difference!! & all for the better!
Lighter, quicker to tie off, & for the firat time i was able to tie off before i stepped onto my elevation platform!!
Im really digging it.. I used the tail of the rope to tie an bowlin knot around my bridge as a secondary saftey and it didn't get in the way at all.. Thank you everyone that shared with me knowledgeable insights ; its much appreciated. I just wish i became a member on here sooner.

Were you using flat webbing? I am waiting for my tethered rope to switch flat from my trophyline for hopefully the same upgrade.
