Ropemans in stock anywhere?

Kenn is right. Once you use a Ropeman on your lineman or tether ropes, you'll never want to touch a prussic again.

Exactly right lol. For some reason I used a prussic on one hunt last year and HATED it lol. The Ropeman just makes life so much easier. I found a Ropeman 2 and thought I would try it. It works just fine but is a tad heavier than the ropeman1.

I'd like to see some pics of your ropeman in action. Any you fellas care to share?

Nice Bridge flingin.:cool:

Thank ya. I like it! Only complaint is the small prussics I use for my back support strap. They don't slide but after tightening them down its hard to get them to slide over the spliced part of the Amsteel without loosening each one.

I noticed your back support links. I gave all that up when I went with a lower hook up and more upright stance.

@flinginairos - Back support! ahhh...

I was staring at your bridge tryign to figure out what was going on. At first I thought you were using a double prussic system with an unattached length of amsteel in order to have an adjustable bridge. I was thinking that was a pretty clever way to do it.

Then I see that you aren't nearly that clever...just have a wimpy back ;)

Haha I do have a wimpy back. Gotta have something to lean into when I take my naps! Lol

I have a wimpy lower back also, but that was funny G2. Back problems suck, no denying that.

Ten days ago I ordered a Ropeman 1 (on backorder with estimated shipping today) from Backcountry.com. Having received no tracking number I called them today and was told that Wild Country just canceled all their 2016 shipments due to production issues. Backcountry suggested try again in January 2017. Anybody have any leads on existing stock?

I posted my secret french connection in another thread. $33 a piece on sale... 10 in stock.... I got lucky when i ordered mine i took them up on free shipping on orders over $55. They have since changed their site to say free shipping on EU orders only... you can get them but shipping is like $40 for 2 of them...

Edit... i just noticed i posted it in here...

This is no good ordered two from treestuff monday with a 1-2 week ship wait. My suggestion is for the company to scrap what they have and make some more. Fill orders as they come off the line because its obvious the demand is high for these.

Thanks ...you got a good deal with free shipping. To rich for my blood since they discontinued free shipping. I guess I'll have to give my wife one of my Ropeman's and use a prussic. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode when Elaine gets bumped from First Class to Coach, "I can't go back to Coach. I won't!"
