Rubber boot alternatives

Danner RAT boots are my everything boot. I am partial to the USMC tag but the boots are bombproof and the Goretex is great for fording

I wear my old firefighters boots and even though they are old they still have never leaked! I have the regular knee high ones but I also have my hip high ones for when it gets deeper and like @Weldabeast said chest waders for real deep water! And for warmth just use hot mocs with hot hands if it gets cold enough!
 
I have a pair of Field & Stream leather boots lined with Gore-Tex. They’re 1000G insulation and just as comfy in 95 degrees as they are in 5 degrees. Only got water in them when I tried to use them as hip waders lol. I’ve put over 100 miles on them in 6 seasons. Haven’t had to think about replacing them yet. Best $59 I ever spent on hunting gear.
 
I bought these back in turkey season and love them so far. It is the cableas instinct snake boot. It's a hiking boot with what I think they call a turtle skin chap built into to it. Waterproof and supposedly snake proof up to the knee.

Obenhauf’s heavy duty LP is the tits. I use it on my boots, softball glove, axe blades, bridge straps, etc. There is a rumor that I ate in on some waffles. I can neither confirm nor deny.

I like my scarpas. Got them forever ago. Feet stay dry up to 6”.
Wet days I will use the rubbers for crossing creeks.
