After some adjustments it's finally ready to show off. The saddle is named after the S-10 plow truck that sacrificed it's seatbelts for the project. In total I have maybe $50 into the build. I collected the materials and put it together at my cousin's upholstery shop which is where I got the top gun material for the seat.

Would have been cool to repurpose the buckle from the truck.....looks good regardless
I had thought about it but with it not always latching properly I figured cobra buckle would be safer. Of course the seat belts in that thing haven't been used in 20 years lol. I might try that on the next one since I have enough strapping for 2 saddles

That's actually my homemade gear hanger. There's loops off each ball that go up and over it.

It is a triple wrapped schwabisch and locks very hard but I see how it doesn't look very good. I sometimes still have to adjust it with 2 hands even with the tender. I am planning on switching to Sterling 6mm TRC before season starts, just a little strapped for cash at the moment.
