My son looked at me and said, "There is no reason to come back hunting this year".

Feeling sad for my son, Cody and this magnificent north Mississippi buck that Cody has hunted for three years.
We have no clue to what had happened causing the death of this nice buck.
The pictures of him alive was in February of last year. We only got one picture of him this year while in velvet (July) and i can't seem to find that picture.
Yesterday was a sad day

He got the next best thing. A chess game neither won nor lost but the trophy to remind him of both the joys and heartaches of what drives us all. I feel both for Cody!
