Here’s a private place I’m hunting tomorrow with good sign, standing corn, relatively un-pressured. The blue is the projected wind direction for the day, yellow is my access route. The stand marked is what I initially planned to hunt as it may intercept deer a deer trail going to and from the above hot rub area.
The red blob in the corner is a drainage which would be my alternate saddle location. This has a lot of tracks down there, and the deer may travel from the field down, or up from the drainage to the field.
Which stand location would you hunt?
