Does 1/2/3=S/M/L?

I don't want to buy something only to find out I needed a different size and now need to sell what I just got

For example there is a TX5 size 2 in the classifieds but nothing I can find on TX5 site about what that actually means and I was thinking TX5 are custom made so that really throws a curve ball :D

Trying to give this saddle thing a try via used equipment
