Im 6' 238 pounds. What is gonna be the most comfortable saddle for me. I hunt long sits and a lot of times all day. I'm just tired of packing so much weight and I want to be more mobile for public land. That's all I hunt. Thanks.

I’m 5’10 220 pounds and have the Kestrel #2 very comfortable. #2 is the largest AreoHunter makes

The JX3 Hybrid hands down. If you truly hunt all day a lot you will not be able to do it in a regular saddle in my opinion. In the hybrid you have a backrest and your knees are not in the tree all day. Also it takes all of the weight off of your feet so you can sit in complete comfort. The hybrid will also double as a turkey or ground chair. Give it a look, you will not be disappointed.

6'3" around the same weight. I have found the Kestrel Flex preferable. I started with the Mantis and also tried the JX3. JX3 is comfortable I just found it a little clumsy in transitions.

This question has been asked many times. It's subjective. I'm 6'1" 230 with a flex #2 that wears like an old pair of jeans. My hunting partner is 2" shorter, same size waist and hips and hates it. I'd recommend calling the manufacturers and chatting with them. Hit the saddlehunter map and see if you can find a member close by. You didn't state where you hunt so if you need to layer consider that.

Roughly the same size as you and I have a kestrel size 2 and it has treated me well. I have not experienced any issues with it all. Very comfortable.

Have never had an issue with all day sits in my Kestrel. The best option is to try and find people in your area to try out different models to see what works best for you. Will all depend on in you are a sitter/leaner, if you are using a platform or ring of steps etc... Way too many variables.

JX3 is probably the most comfortable. 1 stick and your golden.
I hunt from a kestrel and honestly if I hadn’t won it I would probably still be hunting from a sitdrag exclusively. I just don’t see any saddle being enough of a difference to purchase one. I do all day sits off a ROS in a sitdrag. I use a battle belt with a Erniepower linesman and have zero complaints.
I tried a size 1 kestrel and torture devices seemed more comfortable. The size 2 is much better. It’s all about sizing and the correct cut saddle for you. Saddle shape is a real thing. Your first few sits will be less comfortable than your last few sits of the season.

See you in a tree, Ricky

I'm a little bit shorter and significantly heavier and I use the Mantis XL. Works great for me but I agree it is truly subjective and depends on the person.

So for a 35" waist sounds like a flex #2.
What about a kestrel?
Same?
While we are at it, which one is closest in design to the new Trophyline?
Thanks.

6’2”, 230. I run the mantis XL and am good for a solid 4-5 hours at a time. I’m not a typical all day guy, but when I do I’ll do it with my summit goliath climber.
