Walked into same group of 5 near the spot we had this morning’s encounter - Dan was on lead and had one at 20 but realized he left his release in the truck. I slid up and had to kneel to draw. As I drew they caught my movement and bolted. Up in saddle now. Dan went back and switched to his .17

The WV gang cams close tonight. My buddy had a group behind him but no shot. I was watching a big field and they came up to the edge but I couldn’t see them because of some tall grass at around 300 yards. Saw several deer and 15 turkeys!

We got into pigs 3 times today, well 3 times that were confirmed. Had a lone pig skirt our left flank grunting at is a bit, had a good sounder at least 5 strong within 25 yards but lots of brush between, and had a lone boar cross a 2-track in front of us. We couldn’t connect, but it was nice to get close.
