I haven't seen my hunter safety card since I was 18. We just use our drivers license and they print out hunting tags. I will make a few calls and see what happens!

I was able to get mine from back in 95 on this site, cost a few bucks but worth it imho.

I took mine in seventh grade after school. I guess I put the wrong social security number on it. I've got a copy of it before. It's in a file at this districts WRD office. Yours may be somewhere with your state also. If not there are several online safety courses that are valid in Georgia.

Even if you have to come solo, trust me you will have a blast. I learned about this meet-up concept through Hammock hanging events. I attended several without knowing a soul. I made lifelong friends at every single hang. Wouldn't change anything.

And honestly, sometimes going by yourself is a good thing. It forces you to meet everyone and make friends.

I can't wait to meet all you guys and see some familiar faces as well.

My goal is 30 hunters. Last year we had 10.

Please post here as soon as you feel confident you'll be attending. I'll keep a running tab on the initial post.

If the good Lord is willing, I'll be there. I had a blast last year. Meeting everyone last year was the best of all, these guys, just like they are on the forum, where the best guys. Can't wait to meet more of the saddle brothers.
@Seals72, we are going!!!!! Save you vacation.

Oh yeah! We're going. That's my Birthday weekend!

Planning on myself, my 9 year old son and my good buddy that is a fellow saddle hunter as well (not on the forum yet). My son has been bugging me for a couple years to take him hog hunting and I think this would be a great time to take him!

As of right now I have myself who is 99% for sure coming and two BIL's that are tentative. One is in Florida, just outside of Tampa and the other would be driving down with me from Michigan.

I've got an eleven year old that went last year. He had a good time and wants to go back this year.

Ok, I'm going to mark you down as attending +2. Also, I have an 11 year old son. I'll bring him so we'll have a few kids around. They'll have a blast playing around camp, fishing, hunting, camp fire making, etc.

It was good having your boy in camp last year. I'm glad he had a good time.
