Did she definitely cross the thicket? Just a thought, I am sure you checked.

Yep. No piggie laying inside.
Shot was about 9ish yards and I went high lung on her. I'm not NEAR as bummed as I would be if it was a deer left unrecovered, but I would love to have her in the freezer. Not too bad for a first spot and stalk of the year, and one less pig on this urban piece to worry about.

Here's a little teaser for you guys.

I saw at least a dozen pigs. There's plenty left in this spot. My ladder and platform will be set and ready for SaddlePalooza hunters. All you have to do is tie in your tether and lock and load.

Just watched it. That looks like JUST what that pig I shot last week went into.... I lost the trail and never got it again. Congrats on a fun hunt!

SaddlePalooza is a great chance!

Would love to do it if I can, it will have to be a last minute decision for me. We always do a week long ski/snowboard family trip a week or so before SaddlePalooza, so it will depend on the work schedule. How late is too late to commit?

It really depends on how many people commit. But I have to lock in the food for the BBQ a week before. So I would say that would be it.
