Good call on the thermacell!

I'm getn there, the packing/to do list is getting ridiculous, might not finish a few things on my wish list, such is life.

I will have power as well if folks want to charge phones or make coffee, lol.

Looks like primitive area will not have outlets - fsct? If so there goes my portable Keurig damnit! For charging phones what are the options? Thinking Avenza alone will drain them down pretty good thru the day

Fact. No power in the primitive side. I've been wondering what we're going to do about Coffee. I'll probably use my JetBoil unless someone has a large Coffee pot we can use. I have a 110 outlet in my truck we can use to power it.

Last year I charged my phone in my truck. That was the best I could do. You can also bring a power bank and use those.

EVERYONE - Bring plenty of bug spray and a Thermacell if you plan to hunt from a tree. The bugs will be out and they will ruin your life if you don't prepare.

@redsquirrel - yes, you may encounter a few snakes or alligators. We do have poisonous snakes - cotton mouths, rattlesnakes, and copperheads. More than likely you won't encounter any, but it is a possibility.

I have a couple of power banks and 110 adapter for the truck as well so I’m sure it will be good

Found it. 500 sq inches in a garment above the waistline which may include headwear. I take that to mean you don't need an orange cap if your vest/ jacket is 500 square inches? And no mention of camo blaze.

I would take that to mean you don't need the cap if you have 500 inches also.

Technically generators aren't allowed. I think we can get away with one of the little Honda generators that don't make any noise, but a loud generator will be a no-go.

Sometimes it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission I’m pretty sure this one is quiet and would only be running an hour or so at a time. I will leave the flat screen at home

I'm the same way. Worst thing they can do is tell you to turn it off.

Since I haven't heard definitively either way, that is the theory I'm going with for my spurs too.

@Erniepower there is no rule against spurs. I've read the entire SOP from front to back and there is nothing about penetrating the bark or outlawing screw in steps or bow holders. I don't broadcast using them, but I use them.

Would you consider knee high boots a necessity?

Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I would, it can go from high and dry to calf high swamp real fast. You'll definitely want them if your pig takes off after a shot.

Being from Texas, I’m amazed there’s people out there without snake boots :)
