I’ve been reading!!! A lot!
I’m still not sure what I’m doing. I’d like to use my old tether for my new one, but not sure of the safety of sewn loops.
I have two of them. Second one for the bridge.
Also plan to use the webbing for my saddle. Do you think it is strong enough?

I will defer to the more experienced guys on here, but if it was me, I would go with climbing rated gear for anything life saving. I also realize it's a little more money, but what's 50-100 bucks compared to a 20' fall?? The DIY ers on here know enuff about safety to use leftover gear and ensure its safe. But the smart thing is you asked first!! That's what I do with these guys!!
