I currently rappel using a ATC backed by a Beal jammy. I’m thinking about upgrading to the safeguard. Is it worth it? The ATC and jammy do the job but I’m not overly impressed either. Do you backup your safeguard as well?

Do you use your rappel line at your tether? That’s the only time it seems worth it. Use it to ascend and then to rappel. No change out required.
