I no longer use spray since I switched to ozone. After using different sprays and testing on things like old shoes and such, it seemed to me that the homemade stuff was as good or better than store bought. Just distilled water, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and scent away green shampoo.
If you make your don’t tighten the cap until it has time to ferment. Gasses will be released from baking soda a peroxide
Oops! Glad you mentioned that! I forgot once and it blew the top off of an old milk jug.

Milkweed isnt odor control. Its odor observation. This is the only scent control you're ever going to need. View attachment 16823
I use spray. I use O3. I use chlorophyll. I shower. I prune entrance trails. And I use milkweed and try to hunt the wind. Im an "all of the above" odor reduction guy. Every little bit helps, but NOTHING is 100%.
I had Dead Downwind spray several years ago that did not work in our testing. I contacted DDW, and they did inform me that these sprays do have a shelf life.
Thanks for that extra info.Yeah, DDW is made with vegetable enzymes IIRC so I have experienced where it fermented over time, too.
I have tried a bunch of different sprays and I guess my favorite at the moment is the Primos Control Freak spray since it has colloidal silver in it which I KNOW kills bacteria. Other stuff I have no idea what’s in it to reduce odor.
All that said, like Tom, spray is far from the only thing I use to reduce odor.
