Second Bridge and Tether - Safety

So I have an Aero Evo that has the rigging plate. I’ve toyed around with the idea of attaching a second bridge to attach to a backup tether for safety reasons.

Other than the extra weight and possible mobility constraints, is there anything I’m missing safety wise? Don’t want to compromise my current setup thinking I’m actually making it safer.

I can post pictures when I get home this evening.
