Alright Ladies and Gentlemen,

The last dump pouch sharing thread was incredibly productive and led to me redesign my whole pouch system. Now let me see those back bands you have rigged up. The old moth eaten camera straps, the used underwear lumbar slings, whatever you have lets see what you have worked up.

I was just thinking about this last night and started digging through my pile of old duffle bag straps, bino straps, and scrap webbing.... I look forward to seeing what everyone has rigged up.

I posted about DIY backband son the FB page, didn’t get any pic responses but few guys threw their ideas out, gold bag shoulder straps, duffel bag straps, sit drags, etc... I’m planning on making one to try out so I’m in for some ideas too.

I mean, realistically, There's really only so much that could be done. I'd like to see how people attach theirs....bridge w/ prussiks, or to their tether and why.

I think there are many, many options and possibilities as far as just webbing alone, mulitple webbing straps, fabric construction, levels of padding, attachment systems, storage etc etc.

I am also interested in the double back band under the knees and back as a recliner technique I have been hearing about. Anyone out there carrying double bands in for all day sits?

@skell time to start sewing on your lunch break again...

You'd think.... But I learned that, on this site, someone will always find a way invent some awesome new creation out of the most simple device.

Ain't that the truth!I'm look forward to seeing some ideas! My thread injector is ready to work!! haha :p

This is 1.5” webbing with some outdoor screen material I had left from screening the deck. Slide the tri-glides into prussic loops on the bridge. Packs up small and worked great with my “turkey saddle” this spring.

I've got some ideas. Haven't put anything together yet.
You'll have to give me a week or two. My schedule is a little crazy right now.
It is on my TO-DO list!

I like it! Just trying to make sure you don’t get bored is all....

I put on my kifaru pack and saddle. Hooked to it right around chest level on the shoulder straps with a rope going through my carabiner. I would put money on it being the most comfortable way to hook up a back rest. You can slide the pack up a bit and use the frame as a head rest. I'll be napping in the woods during gun season :)

Has anyone ever heard of an aqua jogger? I work at a pool and some people have this foam piece that goes around your back to keep you bouyant in the water. I figure it’s already meant to wear around your back, has a strap built in, and the foam may make it more comfortable. Might be a crazy idea that doesn’t work at all but it got me thinking.

It does look very comfy but a bit too much bulk i think.

You mean you use your whole pack as a back band? I am interested. Send us some pics!
