I picked these up at a army surplus store and I think they are gonna work better than a dump pouch, they have a smaller profile and a buckle instead of drawstring

I like that idea. The pouches I have now are a touch too small.
Although the more I add to my waist, the more I am gonna need suspenders.

I already use suspenders on my kestrel... It keeps it from falling down when loaded

Not presently but I simply attach them to the top of the saddle. I don't know if it is my body shape or what but my kestrel always wanted to fall to my knees. Suspenders are light and work for me. I tried using my linemans belt across my shoulders but that is uncomfortable and does not work when you are climbing the tree. I release the tension on the suspenders when I get to hunting height.

Probably a case of noassatall, lol. I suffer from the same thing. I guess I'll have to start looking for a pair of suspenders now before my kestrel gets here. Would you say any suspenders would work well or do you use something in particular?

I just put 2 of those Molle pouches on my Kestrel. They do work great - my tether and lineman's belt fit in them perfectly. Thanks for the idea!

67elmustang, I just got them but they appear very sturdy. I bought them from Allegheny Surplus Outfitters and I think I paid about $6 for each of them. Hope this helps!
