Shrike Webbing Tree Strap?

I have a Kestrel Flex (upgraded) that I am very happy with. However, my version is all Predator rope for the lineman's, bridge, and tree strap. It gets a little bulky, especially with all those knots. Thinking of getting a webbing tree strap like what is offered with the Shrike. I might want to get a longer than 8ft length if Aerohunter does that, since some of the trees I hunt on are pretty big.

Curious how others like using a webbing tree strap.

Take that predator rope all day long, webbing is not an upgrade in this circumstance…..

Predator is one if my favorites for bridge rope. I did get two webbing tethers, but not overly sold on them yet. I sent my Shrike back for a refund, but did keep two webbing tethers. Haven't hunted with them yet.

Thanks for the replies. Will likely stick with the rope. Maybe I can get some splicing done (instead of the big loop knots) to reduce the bulk.

Sewn eye I think is all they can do with predator but someone correct me if I’m wrong

Predator can be spliced, usually also with a lock stitch. I think they use a brummel splice, but could be wrong. There are old threads on it. I've never tried it, but love predator rope and wish I could splice it, maybe someday.
I still haven't given up on these webbing tethers, but it may be only a matter of time until they show up in the classifieds.
