Silencing Cranford Saddle Scaffold

What is everyone using to silence their Cranford Saddle Scaffold? I want to get an idea of something that wont wear out after a couple uses. Any help is appreciated

I used vet wrap on 2 out of the 4 steps I have (ran out and haven't got more yet) but really like how it deadens them. I only wrapped the post, not the step. Seems to work well

I did mine in stealth strips pretty much wrapped the step. Super quiet now and fells warmer to the touch. I dont know how well they will hold up only time will tell.20190926_012345.jpg

I'm wondering if truck bed liner like Line-X would work and give you a little extra grip

I got a Cranford scaffold step with 2 of the 4 steps for sale if any interested. Never used
