Singer 503A

Very good, all metal gears, strong sewer. From the early '60's. You will need plastic cams to sew any other stitch besides straight stitch. Depending on condition, completeness $50 is a good price. I have two of them.

This thing came with cams in the original singer cardboard box. Seems to punch through webbing with ease. I am chasing some thread tension issues

Make sure your tension discs are clean and rust-free. I take an old tee shirt remnant and gently move it back and forth to clean them. Make sure you have a new, appropriately sized (for the thread) needle. Good luck!
