Looking for a microfleece jacket to fill that midseason treestand niche, but not at Sitka highway robbery prices.

What' out there comparable to the Stratus?

I currently have a few different fleece and wool options, none of them being perfect. Wind being the biggest problem, if it is windy I usually have to wear a rain shell.

Windproof or highly wind resistant, quiet. Not a boxy cut.

DWR and a hood are a plus but not dealbreakers.

Definitely does not have to be camo, would actually prefer non-camo earth tones.

There's a stratus jacket in the classifieds for a very fair price if size large is your size.

That is a pretty reasonable offer @Vthntr, surprised that hasn't been sucked up by now.

I did some research and decided to pull the trigger on an OR softshell. I've had great experience with that brand in the past snd like I said I was preferring something non-camo. At that price it was worth a shot. Spec wise it seems pretty comparable to the Stratus aside from the $300 price delta.

It should arrive today, we'll see how it does this season.

Biggest difference is likely the shell material. Stratus is pretty dang quiet compared to other softshells I've owned.
