Has anybody ever used grip tape on their WE steps or platforms? Curious to know if it would be to loud but it would be great for wet & snowy days. I've been saddle hunting for like 10-15yrs. I searched something on youtube and a couple old school tree saddle videos came up then I seen a kestrel saddle, so I sold my tree saddle for about 200 bucks lol. I started doing research and came across g2 outdoors videos. I bought a mantis & a predator platform (Now Im gonna sell my Lonewolf assassin on ebay). I'm pretty stoked about my new purchases. I live close to John Eberhart and have conversed with him a few times. I'm surprised Ive never came across this saddlehunter before, Im pretty computer savy and also searching for the latest and greatest stuff to get the lightest weight stuff I can buy for hunting. Im a stateland big woods hunter (huron national forest) so being light weight is always a must when I walk everywhere with my military compass & gps.
I seen g2 outdoors video about the knaider/swayder hook up so I bought all that stuff and the WE steps (4 of them with a bag). I hunt a few spots that are "Only walk in areas" 10 to 20 thousand acre parcels and carrying this whole hook up with the mantis and predator is exciting for me (less sweating my nuts off). Might even sell my helium sticks now lol.
