Skateboard platform

Was on the train this morning and saw a guy holding this skateboard. Looked it up and looks like it would make a great platform if cut down. Site says it weighs 4 lbs.

Where would you cut it? Likely anyplace you cut would reduce structural integrity. The topology of the board has been optimized for structural integrity for the specific use of skateboarding and staying structurally sound while the wheels are on the ground and support by the trucks. You'd severely compromise the structural integrity if you cut that thing down.

Plus... why on earth would you pay almost $200 for that thing just to cut it down? You'd probably get a DIY XOP platform and most certainly a predator platform cheaper.

not really sure where i would cut it im no good at that stuff just seemed like it would make a great platform. Looks pretty solid.
