Slack Out climbing system!

Tether Push Up Pole
I cut a PVC tee in half, cut away a bit of the inside with a knife for clearance and screwed it on the end of my 11 foot extension pole. I was able to push a tether almost 17 feet up a telephone pole from the ground. A second tether or lanyard should enable me to push the main tether further up while hanging about 15 feet above the ground from the second tether.
I later went to the park where I am not supposed to climb trees and tried the push pole on a tree. The bark was so rough I couldn't get the tether more than about 10 feet up the tree. I gave up, got out my throwbag and hit the crotch 20 feet up on my first underhand toss. I felt like Sandy Kofax. I had a fine time hanging out 20 feet up. I am not sure where the pole method is heading for me.
There was another dead tree I tried it on where it worked well. Did not climb the dead tree.

SRT in a hunting saddle - tighten up the bridge and hook on an ascender/rappel device. Hip pinch city. It is definitely not designed for this. It works but it does not feel comfortable at all. It's more like a torture device designed by a committee of ex-wives. I tried hooking up to the main belt on the saddle and it was a little better. What are you guys doing? I am thinking of a mod that mimics rock climbing saddle/harness. Sorry, not hijacking the thread. It is the same content. Just want to find out if I am missing something or if someone came up with a solution for this.
Need a adjustble bridge

Man I never realized how loud carabiners snapping closed are....Thanks for the video
How loud are WEI steps clunking down on the tree? Anyone?

A wooden walking stick used as a push pole for this method should not sound unnatural if hit against anything else natural.

When I was working on this system it was to deal with branchless stems. If I had a substantial branch to throw over ascent would be rope walking my preference. I am going to do some presets today and if I run into a thickly branched tree I'll use my W.E. steps for access but might test my Slack Out system as well.
