Small Pack for carrying sticks and predator platform?

Camelback makes their trophy back pack that’s smaller. Plenty of straps outside for hooking sticks or platforms it’s meant to hang and has a shelf for stuff while on stand.

I just got a 5.11 rush pack and I think I've finally found the pack I've been searching for for so long. It's medium to small, has molle everywhere, a couple outside straps, mesh pockets on the inside, and a hidden dedicated hydration pocket. Easily holds my 3 timber ninja sticks and platform fits inside. Cost 95 bucks so it's cheaper than most of the other packs I've owned and seems to be very worth it.

Hey Murph4028, what size pack of theirs did you get? I’ve been looking around for a while and those might be at the top of the short list. Thanks ahead of time for the info!

Jhunter- I got camelbak trophy 20l https://www.sierra.com/trophy-ts-20...0L_Backpack&currency=USD&codes-processed=true
My local Sierra had it for $43 it was too good to pass up. Brian is that the 20l or 30l?
you got a whole lot going on there- tell me more. Looks like you have cable aiders, tied up with little nylon rope, attrach predator aLl the way around the sticks and the pack. There’s a hint of bungee I think.
my pack only has some molle at the top (see link). I have 30” helium’s. They are a little bigger and heavier than I thought they would be.
any advice from anyone?
I also have an aplz outdoor traverse (which Sierra had for $75 new). I know I could get it all in there but the bag is huge. I could just take big bag and store it 2 trees away.

I was looking at 511 they have a helmet bag that could fit a predator and be a good pouch for sticks.

Mine is the 30L
I like that I have a deck or shelf in the pack to put my phone, gloves, calls etc on while I’m up.
I actually use a sit and climb method with a tree stand bottom.

Im using a erberlestock X2. the bat wing design is great for sticks. then the platform straps right to the front of it

Brian- did you sew the straps on to hold the sticks? Any special type of thread? I don’t have a sewing machine would likely take it to a tailor

Fwiw I'm also using the Wally world sling pack. I can fit all the stuff I need inside it and I find it very comfy. I haven't tried attaching my sticks to it but one sure if you had short ones you'd be fine. Or just use stepps and a perch like me and it all fits inside. :)

Eberlestock Bandit pack. Have not hunted with it yet but scouted extensively, hung cameras etc. Works great for early season stuff. Sticks and platform. Would be too small for mid to late season clothing.

I'll throw in my new setup as of yesterday. Same sling pack with my new 20" helium's and my new predator inside the pack. I got my safety line / tether coiled up inside the pack too. I don't hate the way it sits on my back but I don't love it. I ordered a Alps Pursuit pack today and can't wait to try it out since it has a frame and the shelf design looks really promising.

Going to update with my new pack. Alps Outdoorz Pursuit Pack. Still pretty dissapointed in my reading skills and didn't notice when I ordered it from Rogers online it didn't come with the waist/kidney belt. It was a good price though so I might keep it. I was able to use one off a different pack I have but was looking forward to the one that it normally comes with. Side note I tried to use the bottom bow hanger strap to hold the sticks and they flop around way too much for me. I tried the way in the picture to hold them down instead of supporting the weight and it was better. I tried a bungee cord last and it seems the be the ticket for now.

Another update. Purchased a Badlands Pursuit pack from a member here and got it setup tonight. Was able to reduce my stick count to three 20" Helium's now that I have 2 two-step aiders and 1 one-step Aider. Initially I was going to run the sticks vertically with two on each side. After losing the fourth stick I've settled on packing the sticks on the bottom. Pack carries awesome and very happy I bought it. Predator platform rides inside the pack until I get to the tree and hang it off my saddle. Pack has a million pockets and plenty of room to pack an extra layer if sitting somewhere really cold.
