Has anyone tried the SneekTec boot covers, and if so what did you think?

My wallet hates yall.

Bet these would double as effective knee pads.
 
I've thought adding hide and fur to the bottom of a shoe to quiet down footfall in crunchy leaves....looks like somebody else thought it a good idea too....

No way I would add over half a pound to each foot...they get heavy enough by the end of a long hunt...

I was thinking of just epoxy deer hide with fur on to a pair of cheap walking shoes
 
Pack an extra set of @DanO fleece pouches with milkweed or rabbit fur and shock cord them to the bottom of your boot. Double, nay, TRIPLE duty!
 
I not sure if I can find it but I saw a nature show clip and a lioness was super close to some prey and she was stalking a specific way laying her feet down sideways walking on the fur...super stealth....that when I thought it be worth a shot... unfortunately 4 me I totally forgot about that plan and didn't save any of the hide from the last kill
