With the influx of new saddle options along with new platforms and a variety of climbing options there are many questions that have been and will be asked by the many new members who are joining this site.

I thought I would simply go ahead and answer this one question, that I don’t think I’ve seen asked yet, “Can you do presets in Crocs?”

The reason I decided to answer this yet unasked question is the sad news I read this morning, that the makers of our beloved Crocs are shutting down factories all over the world. What does this mean for current and potential future Croc owners? Looks like we better buy some backups.

I do a little crossbow hunting along a nearby creek that runs along the back of my place and into a swamp on my neighbors property. I did a preset today with bolts and I thought I would post a few picts. to prove that Crocs are up to the task. Would I recommend them for exclusive usage when presetting in August in Alabama? Nope, but I just want to testify, that it can be done!

This tree is between two trails that go between bedding/crops and hardwoods/hills with a roadbed 30yds. in the rear lined with white oaks.

Looks like a spot I drilled a couple of months ago. Love hunting those creek crossings in the early season.

And Crocs are the ultimate hunting shoe. Unbelievers will be forced to carry a steel Summit barefoot down a gravel road until they repent and accept God's-Chosen Footwear!

I heard they were closing shop because DaveT bought them out. With the new owner they will be coming out with the fleece line of crocs. Also a nucanoe boat shoe line. There will also have what they call the closet wearer line which is his signature line. They only come in hot pink with a fuzzy puff ball on the toe.

Don't worry. They are still going to be making your crocks, just outsourcing the manufacturing.
