First off. I want to be clear that the modification of one buckstep as the platform was copied off of diy thread that was created by Melankm.

Barely used. Minimal chipping from contact as the sticks stack.

Eastern Outdoors stand offs with Grade 8 bolts.

DanO’s offsets are perfectly machined for a mod like this. The standoff has a curvature to the tip. This allows more teeth and contact with the tree. I set it up and stood on it but i was not in the saddle and did not swing to the right or left side just jumped up and down on it.

Selling to recoup some of the cash that i have put into this bottomless rabbit hole called saddlehunting. If still available tomorrow i would not mind taking a video or sending additional pictures for you.

Platform is very stable even with direct side pressure. i was kicking the sides of the step and it would not dislodge from the tree.


Will sell the step platform for $130 if your interested in just the platform aspect of this post.
