Used, but like new. Only did a couple short rappels for testing. Includes original box and papers.

This model has the spring-return cam, so it will not bite on the rope as quickly as the safeguard when tension is applied. It is very similar to how a grigri responds, which also has a spring-return cam. It's a great device for belay or rappel, but I would not recommend it as a stand-alone device for holding you at hunting height since it can slip when tension is removed and reapplied if the tag end is not being held. A backup would resolve that potential issue.

$65 delivered. $55 Delivered. PP F/F only. USA only, or will need to pay actual shipping cost for international.

Free bump for a great deal on a Lifeguard. If you're only planning on using it for rappelling the Lifeguard performs just as good as the Safeguard. I've owned and used both extensively. There's no difference between them on descent. Somebody needs to buy this before my will power breaks down. :)

Saturday bump for a useable device. I don't need another. But it's a good deal.
