New 8mm Deus Ropes escape rope, Technora core, with a polyester and Technora cover. Seems to have been made especially to work with a personal escape device from 3M. Very firm, but doesn’t harden up any.

I have two 40’ with a sewn eye, which is rated at 5,310 lbs break strength. $59 each tyd with PayPal f&f

Bump with some info, first picture shows how flexible it is, second is the only place I could find that sold it.
The shrink tube is kind of thick and stiff, I could replace with a fabric shrink wrap if wanted, similar to third picture.

Brocky, how would this rope compare to 9mm Sterling HTP? Would it be a good replacement? Pack up smaller? Lighter weight? Work fine with a rope wrench? I understand I’d have to experiment with hitches. Similar durability?
 
It is firm like the HTP, but stays flexible after use. It has a smoother cover also about 25% technora. The technora core is heat and cut resistant. Devices run smoothly on it from my brief testing.
 
I bought one of these ropes. I’d love to give a review but that’s not possible. I’m away from home for the next several months.

I’m posting this in case someone is waiting for feedback from the guy that bought the first one.

However, what I can say is that Brocky knows his stuff and has earned my trust.
