Solid color pants recommendations

My wife found a pair of these at a local thrift store and they've become my favorite early season hunting pants. Multiple colors available.

These are my go to. 5 pair for $65. The back pocket stitching is horrible on mine, but I don't care, I don't use the rear pockets. The lined pants are really good too. No problem with those.

I like my OR pants, especially the original Voodoo pant, but they are leaning more towards a severe athletic fit these days... I actually really like the new lineup of Bandlands solid pants, such as the Honir (new favorite) and the Task!
 
For the money the Walmart wrangler cargo are hard early season pant to beat. I have some Kuiu attacks I wear when the temps start dipping into the 50s. Neither are really windproof I do layer under them as needed to be comfortable depending on the temp. We have a lot of briars/thorny vines here so its easier to pill/rip $25 wranglers vs $100 Kuiu pants. The hip vents on the Kuiu are legit. I would like to try some of the born primitive stuff but I don't need any more clothes lol
 
I’m a little slow to this one but I would also recommend either the wrangler stretch or the wrangler rugged wear technicians.
The stretch I have had in the woods yet but the technicians are my everyday, work, hunting pants. Olive and sage color, don’t much wear blue jeans anymore.
 
Prana Zion pants and Eddie Bauer First Ascent are both my go to pants for hunting and now that I own a bunch of them they have moved into every day pants too. The wranglers everyone keeps mentioning aren’t bad for the price. The prana and Eddie Bauer are pricey if you don’t catch them on sale
 
Expensive but the Kuiu Attack pants are great. The DWR works very well, they vent well. I wear them between 40-60 degrees. The Kuiu guide pants are fleece lined and I can hang at 30 degrees ish with those. It gets much colder and I’m running the Sitka Fanatic fatsuit.

I like the Wrangler Outdoorsman pant and the Prana Stretch Zion are nice as well.
 
First lite merino obsidian pants are like wearing pajamas, they aren’t as tough as I’d like, but my god they are comfy. They are my go-to mid season pants. Until temps drop into the 60’s for a high, it’s the old faithful wal-mart wrangler britches for me.

Yes the obsidians are super comfortable but you walk past a briar bush or rub up against the wrong limb and they are torn. They just aren’t durable enough for the price.
 
During bow season I wear the Wrangler outdoor with stretch (4% spandex) pants. I also have a pair of them that is fleece lined. One suggestion I'll make if; you buy these is to buy them one size bigger in the waist when buying the non insulated and possibly 2 sizes bigger when buying the fleece lined. This just makes them looser so that you can add light under layers if needed or when it's hot have good air flow through them.

Good luck with your choice. I buy mine of the Wrangler site when they have them on sale or a percentage off when spending $100.
