I think it was an over center boat strap with one hook and two loops?

They recommended the strap from Amazon possibly as a ROS strap. Dammed if I can find the post. It was about three weeks ago.

That's the one. Thanks so much.
I don’t see a benefit to the large hook. You might like the OCB that EWO sells that has a flat hook, or they also sell one with the large hook also. Tree hopper has a great option also but you have to thread it each time https://treehopperllc.com/ocbs/

I have a couple of these ocb's from Treehopper and mine all have a j hook with a spring loaded button to attach it. No threading involved They work great.

So what's the exact difference between the three? Which one relates the most to the OCB Dano sells, notice he is out of stock

The ones I use from Treehopper have a hook with a spring loaded keeper button. No threading at the tree is needed. Simply hook up the hook to the buckle, pull on the strap to tighten and cam the handle over. The handle is bigger and longer so it cams over easier and holds tighter imho. Trade off is that it's a little bulkier and heavier than the Dano version.

What are you using these for? Your platform?
