Yeah, but Weldabeast is from the frigid northern part of Florida. He's used to those colder climates. That was my point. How we dressed in “cold” weather verse how the other Floridians dressed

Frigid and Florida are oxymorons. He and I are from the same city. We might get 2 nights in the 30’s all “winter” long. I will say this. We have high humidity all year long and we have some bone chilling winds. I’ve heard several of my northern colleagues say that 40 in Florida doesn’t feel anything like 40 in (name your state Wi, Mi, Pn). Either way though I can’t handle that cold stuff. I’m usually good until mid 40’s. After that I’m freezing, my fingers hurt and I begin questioning all life choicesYeah, but Weldabeast is from the frigid northern part of Florida. Ha, for some reason I was thinking you were from the Tampa area. My bad. I remember hearing a guy from Michigan talking about an experience he had after being invited down to Florida to hunt hogs. The forecast was for mid 40's so he thought, yeah, shorts and a tee shirt. I remember him saying he just about froze to death. It's the humidity.Frigid and Florida are oxymorons. Yea I try to avoid Tampa if I can help it… Tom Brady helped their team win a superbowl ring and I hold that against themHa, for some reason I was thinking you were from the Tampa area. My bad. You got that one right…… the “beach” is more like where Fred Flintstone lives in Bedrock but it does get sandier closer to the water. We have a beach cleaner that runs in a couple of coastal spots but every spring the lake tides have brought all that stuff right back in.Why did y'all gravel the beaches? Cant y'all do anything right up there?![]()

Is this odorless? Seems like a great butt rub for early season and hey, if it fights pit and the sack sweat…. Well, it might be great for us saddle hunters!!
Never tried it... but guessing it's just some powder/talc with a funny name ?Is this odorless? Seems like a great butt rub for early season and hey, if it fights pit and the sack sweat…. Well, it might be great for us saddle hunters!!

I haven’t noticed the early heat effecting them near as much as the sheer lack of rain we’ve been having. It flooded in south Florida a couple weeks ago and South Florida archery season opens in few weeks. But here in north east Florida, we have until mid September. My first quota hunt is the first of October so I haven’t even began scouting yet. I’m hoping to start sometime in the next week or two. We saw some velvet on a few young bucks in north Ga last week when we were on vacation. I told my wife I might have to rent a cabin on the edge of a WMA up there and hunt the property line because of all the deer we saw.
